this week we did athletics and i really liked it and i think i got 4th in the sprints. sadly i do not have any Photos but i may get some next year. I think i did well in sprints and long jump and relay.

this book is about two boys who live in a 65 story treehouse with a man eating shark tank filled with man eating sharks, a boiling ally and much more stuff. I think the 65 story treehouse is the best in the series.

This week for Literacy we got though about FANBOYS (if you don't know what FANBOYS stand for they stand  for For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So). We had to make sentences for each fanboy. This is what i did. 

Week 3 Numeracy

Numeracy- This week for numeracy we have been learning about Fractions I have done some slides about what I have learnt. My next step learning is doing more slides.

This week we did Olympic research and made profiles for NZ athletes  here are the three that i did. first there is Ryan Taylor then Luuka Jones and lucky last Jacko Gill. you need to research the person you are doing and then make text boxes to type the info in. Get pitchers of the athlete that you are doing so the people can see what the athlete looks like.

Word Work

This week for my word work I wrote silly sentences and here are my sentences.

Reading

This week for reading we had to listen to the story of peter rabbit. We also had to fill out a bunch of question on a google drawing. Here is my finished drawing.  

Writing

This week for writing we did the same thing as we did last week for writing but we finished the bits we didn't finish (if we didn't finish). Here is my upgraded writing. We highlighted are dlo to show where it is.

For writing we also had to take words that are boring and make them something incredible (eg i went to the shop-boring I flew to the shop-amazing). Here is a screenshot. 

 

Numeracy

This week for numeracy we did algorithms. If you don't  know what algorithms is it is a maths strategy that helps you work out hard maths problems that are hard to work out. Here is a screenshot of algorithms.

it is a very good book and i highly recommended it. It is about a boy named peter pan who comes from a place named Netherlander were nothing is impossible. There is this evil pirate called caption hook who peter pan has to defeat.
