weekly reflection - T1W3

This week I have had a great week.
We had to make cupcakes and we had fun doing it because it was homework and it was really fun and we could decorate them all we like. Here are some photos.

We also did a lot of math like MM (Maths Maintenance) WP (word problems). In groups we were learning about decimals and fractions. and for literacy we did ANZAC topic in did Venn Diagram.

This week for writing we did myths and legends. Myths are stories about things that people think that happen and legends are stories about things that happened. When we were doing myths and legends I learnt there is a big diffidence. Here is my myth and legends stuff.

Literacy Reflection T3W5

This week for Literacy we got though about FANBOYS (if you don't know what FANBOYS stand for they stand  for For, And, Nor, But, Or, Yet, So). We had to make sentences for each fanboy. This is what i did.

Word Work

This week for my word work I wrote silly sentences and here are my sentences.

Reading

This week for reading we had to listen to the story of peter rabbit. We also had to fill out a bunch of question on a google drawing. Here is my finished drawing.  

Writing

This week for writing we did the same thing as we did last week for writing but we finished the bits we didn't finish (if we didn't finish). Here is my upgraded writing. We highlighted are dlo to show where it is.

For writing we also had to take words that are boring and make them something incredible (eg i went to the shop-boring I flew to the shop-amazing). Here is a screenshot. 

 

Numeracy

This week for numeracy we did algorithms. If you don't  know what algorithms is it is a maths strategy that helps you work out hard maths problems that are hard to work out. Here is a screenshot of algorithms.

This week for writing we did a slide called show not tell. We had to describe a emotion but we were not allowed to tell the reader what the emotion is. Here is my slide. (I had to Screencastiy this with background music but i forgot to).

Writing: This week for writing we did a Charlotte's web article. here is my writing to look at and hope you enjoy. 

Maths
For maths this week we made a Screencasteify and got a buddy to do a peer assessment and this is me and my buddy assessment. I need to speak clearly, somewhere quiet with no distrations.



Reading: For Reading this week we had to read and know what the book means by looking at the clues.

Wk2 reflection

This week we have been doing some Anzac topic to learn about the brave solders who went to war. This slide tells you how many planes crashed in the war.It also tells you a little bit of info of New Zealand at war. Its not quite finished yet I am still working on it.


We have also done some time activities for numeracy. In my group we had to create a timeline of our day, with all the times and activities that we completed. Here it is for you to look at.
